Established in 1989 (2045 BS), the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) serves as the national autonomous apex body responsible for overseeing the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Nepal. CTEVT is dedicated to producing technically skilled and competent human resources to meet the country’s workforce demands. Its core functions include policy development, quality assurance, designing competency-based curricula, setting occupational skill standards, conducting skill assessments, and carrying out research and training needs analyses across various fields.
